Residential Landscape

Design Workshop

Two Fridays: January 19 & 26

10 am – 3:30 pm

Members: $165 • Non-members: $180

Join professional landscape designer Lee Armillei, APLD, in this two-day workshop on residential landscape design. Through a combination of lecture and drawing exercises, students will follow a systematic approach to the design process and learn key design principles. Students will then lay out patios, paths, planting beds and more for their individual projects.

Cooking with Chef Al Paris at Erdenheim Farm

Each class will include a discussion about how the food is raised or grown on the farm, followed by a cooking demo by Chef Al Paris and a chance to eat and savor the creation.

Landscape, Ecology & Culture

Celebrate native plants and innovative ecological practice with landscape architects, landscape designers, horticulturists, ecologists, historians, anthropologists, artists, and others. Join us as we continue to connect the dots between ecological restoration, cultural landscape practice, and fine garden design.

This program is produced in partnership with New Directions in the American Landscape (NDAL) and Connecticut College Arboretum. CEUs available.
