Starting November 1, proof of vaccination or proof of a negative COVID test within the past 72 hours is required for entry into the museum. Visitors are required to wear a mask while inside the museum regardless of vaccination status, and social distancing is highly encouraged.
If you’re not feeling well or are experiencing COVID-like symptoms on the day of a ticketed event, please call the Museum front desk to receive a full refund.
We encourage using the free app Bindle to easily and securely store your COVID test results and vaccine records as a private way to share information upon entry to the Museum.

Enjoy a conversation on the art and legacy of Larry Day moderated by Phong Bui, an artist, writer, and co-founder of The Brooklyn Rail. While studying at University of the Arts, Phong Bui attended many critiques and discussions by Larry Day. He will be joined by Ruth Fine and representatives from each of the three exhibition venues exhibiting Day’s work in abstraction, figuration, and the cityscape at University of the Arts, Woodmere Art Museum, and Arcadia University.

Annual Meeting of Members
Woodmere Art Museum members are invited to join the 2021 Annual Meeting of Members. This virtual meeting will include a presentation from Director and CEO William Valerio, with an update on Woodmere’s project to renovate and sustain St. Michael’s Hall.

Ballantyne & Sasaki Play Beethoven:
Early, Middle, Late: Three Cello Sonatas
Lecturer: George Marriner Maull, artistic director, The Discovery Orchestra; educator and public television personality
Enjoy an evening of Beethoven with internationally recognized cellist, Scott Ballantyne, and pianist, Hiroko Sasaki. Beethoven revolutionized the art of music by creating the cello sonata. The composer’s unique musical and spiritual journey is demonstrated in this program with works from each of his major creative periods. The evening will begin at 5 pm with a special lecture on the music of Beethoven by Emmy nominee George Marriner Maull. Woodmere is grateful to Eric Haeker for the support of this concert.

Kids Care Workshop
In this special class, students create artworks as holiday gifts for people who are homebound with chronic illnesses. Children will create mobiles and other artworks and learn how the gift of art can enrich someone’s life. Artworks will be on display in the Millard Children’s Gallery from Nov 13-Dec 19 and then delivered along with meals provided by MANNA (Metropolitan Area Neighborhood Nutrition Alliance).
