From the Executive Director
Dear Neighbors and Friends of Chestnut Hill,
It’s a busy time here at the Community Association as we begin to move to a more “normalized” schedule of events and activities. We are not quite there yet but are very excited to be bringing back the Free Pastorius Park Concert Series! Check out the information below and I hope to see you at one of the Wednesday night concerts.
We are still looking for volunteers to help set up the concert stage. If you can help, come on out to the amphitheater area at Pastorius Park tomorrow morning, Saturday July 10th at 10am, wear closed toed shoes and bring work gloves if you have them. It won’t take long if we have enough help! 🙂
It is also the time of year for the CHCA Board elections and Annual Membership Meeting. This year’s meeting will take place at St. Martin-in-the-Fields on July 22nd at 6pm. As a member you will be receiving more information about this meeting soon.
The election takes place from July 8th through July 22nd and this year there are 16 nominees running for 9 open board seats so it is very important that every eligible member (you must be an active member by June 30, 2021) vote. Links to more information about who is running and a ballot can be found below. This information will also be in the July 14th edition of the Chestnut Hill Local and can be found on the CHCA website.
There are lots of fun summertime events and activities coming up. Be sure to check them out!
Regards,
