Family Fun and Cool Treats at Morris Arboretum & Gardens’ Community Weekend!

Philadelphia, PA—Celebrate Morris Arboretum & Gardens’ 90th anniversary as a public garden with a special discounted community weekend!

From Friday, August 4, to Sunday, August 6, admission to the Morris is just $9 (it’s still free for Morris members, PennCard holders, and children under 3). On Friday August 4, there will be activities for the whole family, and the first 500 visitors each day will get a FREE cool treat.

The Morris Arboretum & Gardens is celebrating nine decades as a public garden with events and activities sure to delight all ages. Be sure to see the Garden Railway with this year’s theme “Public Gardens,” and the new Whimsical Woods, the Morris’s reimagined garden space specifically for children!

  • Willow Wander, a tunnel of living willow in the Whimsical Woods

  • Celebrate the season all month long at Morris ArBOOretum & Gardens
  • Scarecrow Walk with the theme “1990s”
  • Penn Homecoming/Public Lecture: “90 Years of Connecting Plants, People & Place: Importance of Public Spaces in Times of Upheaval”
