The cornerstone of all fine arts study!  Draw from the still life, the figure and portrait models in a range of materials including graphite, charcoal, and conté crayon. Ideal for teens who want to further their drawing skills and develop a strong body of work for their portfolios. Students will work in drawing media from still life, and models to learn principles of composition, value, perspective, and drawing techniques. Will include drawing directly from artwork in Museum exhibitions, portrait and figure drawing. Includes discussions providing advice on selecting and documenting work for a portfolio and an optional portfolio review.
