Morris Arboretum’s Saturday Morning Live Tour Continues on December 1 with Conifers

Morris Arboretum’s Saturday Morning Live Tour on December 1 at 11am will feature conifers.  Join an experienced guide to view a selection of impressive conifers that provide multi-seasonal interest with an array of forms, foliage, bark, and of course, cones!  Pictured here are Dawn Redwoods, Metasequoia glyptostroboides, a deciduous, coniferous tree with cinnamon colored bark that tends to exfoliate in ribbon-like strips.

The Saturday Morning Live Tour Series highlights a different feature of the garden on the first Saturday of each month May through December 2018 at 11am.  The tour lasts approximately an hour and a half. Visitors should be prepared and dressed to walk a long distance on some uneven ground.  For more information, visit www.morrisarboretum.org.  No registration is required.  Tour is included with garden admission.
