Little Lightning Bugs camp is back with new adventures for 4-5 year olds.  Located on the garden campus of the Arboretum, this junior program will offer a curriculum of hands-on science, art and outdoor exploration.  For campers ages 6 to 10, Bloomfield Buddies, returns in the Arboretum’s historic barn, “Barney T. Barn,” located across the street from the garden entrance.  This site offers direct access to historic Springfield Mills, honey bee hives, limitless hiking trails, and plenty of wildlife.

Six weeks of camp are offered, each with a different theme, but all feature exciting adventures, water play, art projects, and outdoor games. The Arboretum’s camp is facilitated by an experienced staff of passionate educators, who teach in local area school districts throughout the year and are eagerly looking forward to celebrating summer with veteran and first-time campers.
