Waldorf Bike ride

Join us Sunday, October 5, 2014 for the 2nd annual Ode to JoyRide: In Memory of Lewis Smith

If you heard about last year’s ride, then don’t miss out on the great community, exercise, and fun this year! This ride is for the whole family to enjoy. The 25-mile route tours Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park via the Wissahickon Gorge and scenic MLK Drive , and turns around at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.  The 5-mile “fun ride” heads to Valley Green Inn and back.  And new this year — a 10-mile route!

All routes start and end at Northwestern Avenue across from the Cedar’s House on Forbidden Drive. All proceeds go directly to the WSP Annual Fund! Download a registration form here: http://phillywaldorf.com/development/community-fundraising-events/. Or just show up on the day of the ride.

Ride starts around 9 a.m. Always an option to turn around at any point. Rest stop at Valley Green Inn and Paines Skate Park. T-shirts (while supplies last) and other goodies will make this a memorable event!

Cost:

Riders 16 years and older = $30/each (by 9/15) or $36 (after 9/15)

Riders 10 years – 16 years= $18/each (by 9/15) or $24 (after 9/15)
