Morris Arboretum’s Saturday Morning Live Tour Series Continues in September with Hidden Gems

Morris Arboretum’s Saturday Morning Live Tour Series continues September 1 at 11am with Hidden Gems.  Led by an experienced guide, this tour will showcase little known garden spots throughout the 92-acre Arboretum. A combination of structures, sculptures, trees and vistas, many “gems” are off the beaten path or “hidden in plain view.” Guides will reveal something different about these garden treasures–an atypical angle in viewing them or a little-known story about them, such as the garden path below the Mercury Loggia, pictured here.

The Saturday Morning Live Tour Series highlights a different feature of the garden on the first Saturday of each month May through December 2018 at 11am.  The tour lasts approximately an hour and a half. Visitors will be walking over some uneven ground and cover quite a bit of territory, so dress appropriately.  For more information, visit www.morrisarboretum.org.  No registration is required.  Tour is included with garden admission.
