Morris Arboretum Hosts Holly Highlights and Winter Greenery Tour in the New Year

Morris Arboretum’s Holly Highlights and Winter Greenery Tour continues in the New Year on Saturdays, January 12 & 26 at 2pm.  Join an experienced guide to explore the Arboretum’s collection of hollies and other broadleaf evergreens that enliven the winter landscape with their lush greenery.  With their glossy or leathery deep green to blue-green leaves, these trees deliver an everlasting framework for seasonal plantings. Some varieties produce attractive flowers in the spring and colorful berries in the fall and winter, broadening their year-round appeal.

Visitors meet at the Visitor’s Center wearing warm clothing and comfortable shoes, ready to walk throughout the winter garden. Tours are included with garden admission and registration is not required.

Morris Arboretum is a 92-acre horticultural display garden that features a spectacular collection of mature trees in a beautiful and colorful landscape.  The official arboretum of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, effective 1988, Morris Arboretum is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and accredited by the American Association of Museums.  For more information, visit: www.morrisarboretum.org
