The 2016 Black & White Gala will be an extraordinary night filled with music, dancing, beer and wine, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and dancing to the New Orleans sounds of the Scott Romig Band. The Gala will take place in an elegantly decorated soirée tent behind the Woodward Community Center at 8419 Germantown Avenue. This event helps to support the Chestnut Hill Community Association.
Our Live Auction features “Experiences” like a two-week stay in a beautiful apartment in Barcelona, Spain, or a weekend stay in Sea Isle City. We will unveil our auction items on our website before the Gala.
Enjoy a night filled with dinner and dancing, music and laughter, and engaging conversation that reminds us all why we love Chestnut Hill. The Chestnut Hill Community Association works to keep Chestnut Hill a unique and wonderful place to live. We bring the community together with our popular Chestnut Hill events—free summer concerts in Pastorius Park, Movies Under the Stars, the Holiday House Tour, the Hoops Madness Basketball Tournament, the Chestnut Hill Holiday Parade, and more. We are also the voice of the community to the City. We advocate for Chestnut Hill regarding development, land use planning, zoning and streetscape issues. To keep these programs going, we need your financial support.
The Chestnut Hill Community Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, all donations are tax-deductible, and a portion of payment for tickets is tax-deductible.
Before our official Gala begins join with those who love Chestnut Hill for a special social gathering at an elegant private residence nearby. We will enjoy conversations, drinks and hor d’Oeuvres, then walk over to the Black & White Gala for the festivities. Attending the Preview Party also includes access to a VIP garden area during the Black & White Gala. (This is an add-on event and can not be purchases separately.)
