Choir is the premiere choral ensemble at the Germantown Friends School in Philadelphia, PA. The ensemble is comprised of 35 auditioned singers in grades ten through twelve and is conducted by Frank Van Atta. The ensemble has toured extensively throughout the world, including recent tours to Puerto Rico and Italy. Additionally, the ensemble has been involved in regional premieres, including recent performances of Paul Mealor’s Stabat Mater and somewhere I have never traveled, gladly beyond by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Jennifer Higdon.
