Friends of the Wissahickon Kicks Off 6th Annual All Trails Challenge

See and Support the Wissahickon Valley Park

The All Trails Challenge (ATC) is back for a sixth season! This event has grown in popularity over the years for two simple reasons: love for the Wissahickon Valley Park and because it’s fun!

Friends of the Wissahickon (FOW) launched the ATC in 2016 as a way for people to explore the park’s 1,800 acres and 50+ miles of trails while supporting FOW’s extensive conservation work. A fun, family-friendly activity that invites people of all ages and fitness levels to hike, walk, run, bike, or horseback ride through every corner of the beautiful Wissahickon, the ATC isn’t a race – participants have four months to rack up mileage on their own schedule and at their own pace.

During the event, challengers also get the opportunity to meet up at social gatherings and fundraise to support the Wissahickon, ensuring that the park is clean and green for visitors as well as the flora and fauna that depend on it. Plus, they can even learn about the park’s history, geology, and many points of interest by downloading the free FOW Map App along the way.

Participants who register as an ATC Challenger and start sharing their progress will be eligible for cool swag and a chance to win great prizes based on mileage, funds raised, and more. (All participants must register with a minimum of $50 raised or contributed to be eligible to compete for any prizes.)
