ELYN BLAKE JEWELRY

Stag & Doe Trunk Show Event

Wednesday, November 29th, 5-9PM

Gravers Lane Gallery presents an exquisite holiday trunk show collection of jewelry by Philadelphia metalsmith Elyn Blake.

Elyn’s distinctive jewelry features a variety of colorful quartz druzy, a vibrant irregular surface which consists of small crystals that grow on a foundation stone. The druzy is formed in voids, like the cavities in geodes, which sparkle with a variety of colored minerals. She pairs hand-selected iridescent stones with oxidized sterling silver or 14k gold to produce unique necklaces, bracelets, earrings that truly embody the concept of luxurious wearable art. Her designs are inspired by childhood memories of her mother’s array of antique pocketbooks which continues to influence her process even today. She is a self-taught jewelry designer and over the years she refined her technical skills at Penland School of Craft, NC; University of the Arts, PA; and Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, ME.

Please join us during this Stag & Doe event on Wednesday, 5-9pm, in Chestnut Hill when stores remain open late with refreshments for holiday strolling and shopping along the avenue accompanied by an array of outdoor festivities. Dates for additional Stag & Doe evening events are December 6th, 12th, and 20th, to experience a nostalgic night of shopping in the old world holiday charm of the neighborhood.
