Moondance Farm Studios will be featuring Chestnut Hill artist, JULIE ANN KRING, as well as debuting LOTS of new art, all by local artists, and providing springtime snacks & sips.
Chestnut Hill artist, Julie Ann Kring, is a painter and print maker whose focus is continually on nature. She often combines techniques or media, such as making collagraphs using natural materials and then enhancing the results by hand, or cutting apart a painting and reassembling it to create a new composition.
A retired art teacher, Julie is the co-founder of Artful Devotion, a program offering retreats and workshops for groups interested in discovering ways to enhance their spiritual practice through art making.
In recent years Julie has mounted two solo shows of her work and received the Printmaker’s Award at the Cheltenham Center of the Arts Members’ Show and the Stella Drabkin Award for excellence in the field of printmaking at the annual show of the American Color Print Society.
Moondance Farm Studios has carried Julie’s work from nearly the beginning, including original works and giclee prints. It’s always a surprise and delight to see what she’s been up to!
