Mission

The mission of the Jenks Academy for the Arts and Sciences is to ensure that every student is inspired and prepared to be a passionate, lifelong learner. We believe that a rigorous STEAM-fueled (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics) curriculum celebrates the joy of inquiry and sparks analytical thinking. Coupled with strong community partnerships and a supportive and encouraging learning community, an Arts and Sciences education will nurture children to become productive, invested participants in a local and global community.

Safety & Culture

We provide a climate that is supportive, nurturing and conducive to learning. We provide an environment that is peaceful and safe for children, one in which students are active learners in their thinking, feeling and responding. Inherent in this philosophy are provisions for relevant and rigorous instruction that is responsive to the needs of all of our students.
