Two Beloved Chestnut Hill Institutions Come Together In times of need, this community is there for each other.

Join the Chestnut Hill Conservancy and Night Kitchen Bakery for a Beef, Beer & Baked Goods fundraiser on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 6 pm at The Venetian Club (8030 Germantown Avenue) to help raise money for the Hiram Lodge #81 and Chef Angela Jarmon of The Night Kitchen Bakery.

Chef Angela has worked at The Night Kitchen Bakery (NKB) for three years, and has become a valued member of the NKB Family. Angela contracted COVID and one of her lingering symptoms included ongoing pressure behind her left eye. While she first thought this was a side effect of covid, weeks went by and nothing changed. Angela decided to admit herself to the hospital, and was shocked to find out that she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.

Angela’s family, including her husband Devon and their two young boys’ lives have been upended with this diagnosis. Because of this, Angela has had to take some time away from her position at NKB.

Another tragic blow to the Chestnut Hill community was when the historic Hiram Lodge in Chestnut Hill was damaged by a fire due to faulty electrical wiring. The community is now looking to restabilize this 1889 landmark.

In times of need, this Chestnut Hill community comes together to support each other. Join the Night Kitchen Bakery and the Chestnut Hill Conservancy at this Beef, Beer & Baked Goods fundraiser to benefit Chef Angela and the stabilization of the Hiram Lodge building. Tickets are limited, cost $55 and are available for purchase here.
