In preparation for fall events and activities at the Stables, we invite the NWS community, including riders, parents, neighbors and friends, to a clean-up day.
There’s something for everyone to do! You can:
- Clean, sweep, and dust throughout the barn.
- Replace boards and posts in fences.
- Weed and clean the outflows from our Paddock Project (this project will be featured during a major event the following week with the City of Philadelphia and our funding partners).
- Weed whack throughout the property.
- Collect trash, debris, leaves and fallen branches.
- And, more!
Come for a half hour, come for the whole morning! You’re welcome any time.
There will be bottled water and prepackaged snacks to keep you energized.
Please bring your own gloves and masks.
We’ll have some clean-up supplies but please feel free to bring your own tools if you have them. And if you have a few paper garden waste bags to donate, we’d love them, too!
Masks will be required when working inside the barn. Families will work together on projects where possible.
