The Night Kitchen Bakery and Cafe, one of Philadelphia’s most beloved independently owned bakeries, is teaming up with Zsa’s Gourmet Ice Cream for its second year of Pies and Pints!
Zsa’s Ice Cream truck will be in front of the Night Kitchen on the lower end of Germantown Ave. beginning at 8am on Wednesday November 26th and remain until the ice cream sells out! The flavors in pints ($8/each) that will be available are:
Vanilla, Salted Caramel, Caramel Apple Crisp, Pumpkin Gingersnap, Sweet Cinnamon, and Rich Chocolate Sorbet all of which are an excellent accompaniments to the Night Kitchen’s all butter crust Apple Crumb Pies, Double Crust Apple Pies, Pumpkin Pies, Chocolate Pecan or Traditional Pecan Pies and Cherry Crumb Pies.
Zsa’a will also have 4 pint/$30 special so that folks can pick a variety to go with all of their baked goods.
The Night Kitchen’s hand crafted pies are always made with the highest quality ingredients like all butter crusts, Granny Smith Apples and pure vanilla. The friendly staff at the Night Kitchen will recommend oven times to heat the pies so that customers can serve the pies warm and crispy with Zsa’s cold and creamy ice cream, the perfect compliment.
Owners Amy Edelman and John Millard have lovingly carried on the 30+ years tradition of creating desserts with extraordinary ingredients and an enthusiasm for the Chestnut Hill community. Partnering with Zsa’a Gourmet Ice Cream was a natural fit. Owners Parker and Danielle, residents of Chestnut Hill, share Amy and John’s commitment to creating excellent sweets that linger in your thoughts long after the last crumb has been shared.
The Night Kitchen will be open on Wednesday November 26th from 7am-6pm and orders can be placed until Friday November 21st by calling 215.248.9235. The full Thanksgiving dessert menu can be found at http://www.nightkitchenbakery.com/
