Winter Events at Hilltop Books
  With your help we’ve been piling the books high at our book donations center. We can’t wait for you to help us thin the overstuffed bookcases, the heavy boxes, and the teetering stacks! Originally planned for this weekend, we’re pushing our winter warehouse sale to Jan 31st & Feb 1st in hopes of better weather. We’ll be there all weekend long 10am-4pm. Books are priced to move at:$1/kids $2/paperback $4/hardback $6/oversizedCurtis Institute Musicians VisitWe are proud to once again host accomplished musicians from Philadelphia’s own Curtis Institute of Music. A string trio will play a program of solos, duets, and trios for violin, viola, and cello, performing a variety of composers and classical styles.Tuesday, February 3rd at 5:15pm in the Chestnut Hill Library’s Community Meeting Room. Note: this event had a date change and will no longer take place on Jan 27th.The Battle of the Bookclubs Returns! Several rounds of trivia, a silent auction, and fun with friends, all benefiting the Chestnut Hill Library. Buy your tickets/organize your table quickly — last year’s Battle of the Bookclubs Event sold out early! You can buy individual tickets or book a table of 8, or a table of 10 (new this year)! Part of the fun is also getting in on the epic raffle and myriad silent auction packages.
