To deepen your engagement with Woodmere’s exhibition,Planting in Place, Time, and Memory:The Art of Syd Carpenter,members are invited to extend their experience through tours at two additional venues participating in Carpenter’s multi-site retrospective.

The Philip and Muriel Berman Museum of Art at Ursinus College
This exhibition, Home Bound in Wood, Steel, and Clay, presents two large-scale contemporary installations, Mother Pin Ascending and Home Places, accompanied by related works from earlier periods in the Carpenter’s career. 12:45 PM

The Frances M. Maguire Art Museum at St. Joseph’s University
Re-Union: Syd Carpenter, Martha Jackson Jarvis, Judy Moonelis, and Sana Musasama, is a group exhibition that places Carpenter’s work in the context of other female ceramicists who have maintained personal and professional connections over the past fifty years. This includes Syd Carpenter, Martha Jackson Jarvis, Judy Moonelis, Sana Musasama, and Winnie Owens-Hart. 3:35 PM
