Warren C. Longmire (alongmirewriter) is a poet, multi-media artist and educator from the North Philadelphia. His work explores western identity, black masculinities, technology and hope. His latest book, Bird/Diz lan erased history of bebop] (BUNNY Presse) was released in Nov. 2022. Warren is a graduate of the Iowa Writer’s Workshop circa May 2026.
Novari Montese is a Germantown native, poet, and devoted Philly sports fan whose work reflects the rhythms of everyday life, love, and resilience. Since becoming a mother in 2020, she took a brief hiatus from writing during the pandemic, returning to her craft with renewed perspective and depth. Prior to that, she partnered with the Center for Art in Wood for a poetry showcase that highlighted her unique voice and artistic range. When she’s not writing, Novari enjoys concerts with her fiance, the gym, reading, and having dance parties with her five-year-old and their dog Louie. Her debut poetry collection, The Art of Eating Slowly, is set to be released this Fall.
