A delightful collision between an artisanal taco truck and an old school cantina–where the flavors are intense, the service is familiar, and the fresh-juiced margaritas flow like water. Inspired by the beach side cantinas and taquerías of Baja Mexico and named after the iconic motorcycle that was the favored mode of transport amongst local surfers, El Poquito (“the little one”) is winning fans with a whimsical approach to quality food and drink in Philadelphia’s Chestnut Hill neighborhood. Relaxed and fun. Always fresh. Local and sustainable a must. Organic, when possible. Gluten-free, no problem. Vegetarian, lots of options. Inside or out. Happy hour specials. Margarita Monday. Taco Tuesday! This is how we roll. Our Food Our chefs bring the Baja experience to life with an updated interpretation of traditional cantina dishes such as tacos, enchiladas, fajitas and inventive house-made salsas. Our goal has been to create a menu of crowd favorites that focus on fresh flavors and seasonal ingredients. Please check our menus section for our most up-to-date menu offerings. Due to fluctuations in the market and commodities, we are offering a limited take out menu and while quantities last. Some items are slightly different than our normal menu and may change frequently. Our Drinks We have curated a unique selection of aged and rested tequilas, mezcals, and craft beers. Our ever-changing assortment of fresh-juiced and frozen Margaritas, served by the glass, serves as the perfect thirst quencher and accompaniment when dining at our outdoor patio on a sunny day. We will have 3 tiers of margaritas- house, reposado and top shelf- all available with optional fruit purees – blood orange, passionfruit, and strawberry. Your Safety We will be giving guests the option for traditional table service or if they would prefer an experience with less interaction, we will have an online portal that guests can use to place their order themselves. We will have multiple sanitizer stations spaced out on the patio as well as by the restrooms and will have staff cleaning high-touch areas every 15 minutes. As of now, tables will be first come first served, but may change that depending on guidelines set forth by the city.
