Despite the heat and sudden squall, we had a nice turnout of artists and art aficionados to celebrate how well this lovely show came together. You can see the exhibition until September 5th. View Fiber Reimagined IV Blurring the lines: Craft/Art/DesignGallery Artistic Director, Bruce Hoffman, has had a decades-long working relationship with Philadelphia-born Sculptor/Fiber Artist and Studio Art-Jeweler (BFA in Metals California College of Art 2205) Anastasia Azure. Azure has been based in Rhode Island (MFA in Textiles 2011, RISD) for many years. She weaves non-traditional materials such as hand dyed monofilament, copper and brass wire into stunning poetic three-dimensional was sculptures where she explores motion, light and geometric patterns found in nature. She lives near a forest in the unceded homelands of the Narragansett people. We’re extremely excited to be bringing this specially curated selection of work in October.
