ABOUT
EXHIBITION
SSUBSTACK
Credit Where Credit DueWe have to admit a major omission in yesterday’s newsletter where we failed to properly attribute Croton to both Eric Serritella and Tara Thacker. Like the feature piece Tusk, this more intimate iteration of the theme was a collaboration between the two artists. Comprised of individually carved, stained and sculpted ceramic components, the elements are arranged into an abstract composition that reflects the impact of nature’s symmetry on the aesthetics of the collaborators. Thacker and Serritella were both integral in the conception, design, construction, and fabrication of the pieces. Both artists’ distinct styles are evident, with Thacker’s layered construction and Serritella’s organic forms coming together in perfect harmony.
We apologize for the error!

While We’re At It…This also is an opportunity to announce the unfortunate cancellation of Fall for the Arts this Sunday due to weather. We will miss seeing everyone on the Avenue, but invite you to come today or tomorrow while the weather’s fine to see this incredible show. Stay dry out there.
