Offered in recognition of Women’s History Month, this special Discovering program explores the life, career, and legacy of Elizabeth R. Hirsh Fleisher — whose architectural work helped shape neighborhoods throughout Northwest Philadelphia. Presented by architect and preservationist Amy Lambert, AIA, the lecture examines Fleisher’s collaborative approach to design and why understanding her work helps inform preservation efforts today.
This program is co-presented with docomomo Greater Philadelphia, and Conservancy and docomomo members receive discounted registration. The lecture concludes with a moderated Q&A led by architect and Conservancy board member Jean McCoubrey, AIA, and all registrants will receive access to the recording.

This program is part of the Conservancy’s Spring 2026 Discovering series, highlighting architecture, landscapes, and community history across Chestnut Hill, Northwest Philadelphia, and the lower Wissahickon watershed. Upcoming programs include:
