10K and 1 Mile Nature Walk in Wissahickon Valley Park on National Trails DayPHILADELPHIA – April 28, 2026 – The 17th Wissahickon Trail Classic (WTC), one of the region’s premier 10K trail races, is ready to welcome hundreds of runners to Wissahickon Valley Park on Saturday, June 6.
The race highlights the park as one of the best trail-running destinations on the East Coast, consistently attracting 500+ runners for its challenging course of steep climbs, rugged single-track trails and fast downhills, combined with stunning scenery through the beautiful Wissahickon gorge, providing a rural atmosphere across woodlands and along the Wissahickon Creek.

Registration Fees
April 20 – June 5 $80; with FOW membership $105
June 6 (Day of) $90; with FOW membership $115
Family friendly nature hike on Forbidden Drive – $50 per family
The WTC, which always takes place on National Trails Day, was established by FOW’s race partner, the Wissahickon Wanderers Running Club. Benefitting Friends of the Wissahickon (FOW), funds raised will go directly to the stewardship of the Wissahickon trail system and watershed.
