Painting: Graffiti Truck
Gregory Prestegord is a Philadelphia-based contemporary painter whose work merges impressionism, abstraction, and realism to explore the energy of urban life, music, and atmosphere. Influenced by Philadelphia’s industrial landscape, his father’s fine-art printing business, and early exposure to classical painting and graffiti, he developed a distinctive painterly language.
A graduate of CAPA and PAFA, Prestegord has exhibited at George Billis Gallery, F.A.N. Gallery, Morpeth Contemporary, and has maintained a long-standing relationship with Sloane Merrill Gallery in Boston. His work ranges from orchestras and jazz musicians to atmospheric cityscapes and expressive figurative paintings, and it has been featured in American Artist, Art in America, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Broad Street Review, Philadelphia City Paper, Tribeca Citizen, and Antiques and Arts Weekly.
He continues to create contemporary impressionistic and abstract works for collectors and galleries throughout the United States.
