A Guide to Philadelphia Trees Walk

May 2 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
On Saturday, May 2nd, CHCA members are invited to take a journey to learn about one of the quintessential hallmarks of Chestnut Hill: our vibrant trees.

Come along with arborist Ken LeRoy, horticultural editor for Philadelphia Trees – A Field Guide to the City and the Surrounding Delaware Valley, as he teaches us about the trees of Chestnut Hill, their history and science, and their impact on our environment. Attendees will receive a copy of Philadelphia Trees.

The tour will begin in Pastorius Park near the ampitheater (Millman St side of the park) at 11am and proceed up Germantown Avenue, ending around 1pm. Sturdy footwear is recommended.
