A November to Remember
Woodmere officially opens the doors to Frances M. Maguire Hall for Art & Education, with a FREE public celebration packed with art, energy, and community spirit on Saturday, November 1, and Sunday, November 2, from 10 AM to 5 PM. Be among the first to experience the beautiful grounds and 14 new galleries. Highlights include the Violet Oakley “Building the House of Wisdom” Gallery; the dazzling Jewelry Vault; and on view in the Works on Paper Gallery, Minty: A Story of Young Harriet Tubman, illustrated by master watercolorist Jerry Pinkney; and Snowpeople, the whimsical and much-anticipated exhibition by Philadelphia artist Peter Paone. Stop by the studio’s Weekend Drop-In Center throughout November. Registration opens November 5 and is strongly encouraged, as these workshops will fill!
