In Case You Missed It: Gilbert Lewis Exhibition Opening Reception Recording
We hosted our first virtual opening reception for Woodmere’s newest exhibition, Gilbert Lewis: Many Faces, Many Figures. If you were unable to join us, don’t worry! A recording of the event is now available online. Lewis, a leading figurative painter in Philadelphia, is known for his sensitive and thoughtful portrayals of the gay male experience in Philadelphia. This exhibition, on view through October 25, 2020, presents a survey of his career. Stay tuned for more accompanying lectures and gallery talks.
