Meets twice per month; February 26, March 11 & 25, April 1 & 8
Led by Flo Gelo, Associate Professor of Family, Community & Preventive Medicine, Drexel University and Woodmere’s Curator of Education, Hildy Tow, each meeting focuses on a different artwork. The program is designed to engage sensory perceptions, explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe environment, and learn more about yourself. Tours are designed for participants to attend any one session or as a series.

ARTZ Philadelphia and Woodmere offer informal, interactive programs for visitors with dementia through interactions with artworks and opportunities for self-expression. The programs are facilitated by ARTZ Philadelphia Director Dr. Susan Shifrin, an art historian, independent curator, and arts accessibility advocate. Grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, cousins: tour Woodmere’s galleries together with younger members of your family. Share your observations, thoughts, and insights in this special family program.

Woodmere’s skilled docents provide guided tours of the latest exhibitions and our permanent collection. No reservation is necessary, just meet at the front desk! Due to popular demand, Docent Tours will be available every Sunday, beginning April 19, 2020!
