Learn & Create
Creativity pours with fun-filled classes for children of all ages through the end of August! Create a Rainforest engages children 10 and older to create all the layers of a rainforest, from the forest floor to the overstory, with the plants and animals that inhabit each one. These creations will become part of an installation in Woodmere’s Millard Children’s Gallery titled Walk in the Rainforest which will open in September.
For adults, Color Matters (Online, Via Zoom) investigates how to use color to create mood, atmosphere, movement, drama, and contrasts, for beautiful harmonies and delicate subtleties. Join us August 15 & August 22 | 1 – 4 PM. |

We were all deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Stephan Salisbury, who served for many years as a cultural writer for the Philadelphia Inquirer, but has written for many publications, including the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, the Chicago Tribune, the Nation, the Saturday Review, the Village Voice, and the American Poetry Review. Stephan was an amazing reporter, writer, and champion of the arts.
Please listen to the intriguing conversation, Voice for the Arts: Stephan Salisbury Talks with William Valerio About His Career at The Inquirer on a recent episode of Diving Board. |

For added convenience, Diving Board is now on Spotify. |
