Come to the upcoming Preservation Party on Tuesday, December 3And thanks to those who have already bought tickets and volunteered to help!

Our first-ever Preservation Party will celebrate the dedicated stewardship behind Chestnut Hill’s architectural heritage. It combines the Conservancy’s Preservation Awards with the Chestnut Hill Architectural Hall of Fame to highlight the community’s stewardship, preservation efforts, and cherished landmarks that add to Chestnut Hill’s undeniable charm. The evening will reveal the newly selected inductees to the Architectural Hall of Fame and celebrate this year’s Preservation Recognition Awards, hosted at the Venetian Social Club in its 100th year; it promises to be an unforgettable gathering that captures the spirit and history of our community. Tickets include an Italian buffet dinner (From The Boot) with wine and beer.

The evening offers a wonderful chance to connect and celebrate, honor the stories of our awardees, and celebrate Chestnut Hill’s rich architectural and cultural heritage. To make this event more accessible as a “friend-raiser” rather than a fundraiser, we’ve set the ticket price at $45—lower than our Spring Gala—to encourage wider attendance. But we are still low on ticket sales. As of today, we have about 45 registrations for the Party, and to make our budget, we hope to secure 125 ticket sales (for 175 total guests, including the 50 comps – staff, sponsors, and one per awardee/finalist).

Direct outreach for ticket sales is especially effective for events like this, as personal invitations convey the unique value and community spirit of the event, making it a more compelling call to join. Please consider contacting friends and contacts who would enjoy this opportunity to connect and celebrate with us – we are a fun group – and George McNeely will be our emcee for the night!
Please consider purchasing a ticket and sharing the event details with anyone who might enjoy attending. We’re also still seeking sponsors. For more information on sponsorship opportunities starting at $500, please contact Ashley Maass (cc’d here).
Thank you for helping us make this event a success!
