Donate/ purge items you no longer need:


Old clothes, blankets, candles, and board games can easily be donated to local organizations, Donate what you can and purge the rest. Getting rid of items that you no longer have any use for leaves your home looking less junky, more open, and gives you an opportunity to give back to the community.

Invest in some good storage:


We all need places to keep things organized, but instead of buying bins or quick solutions every year, invest in some great storage that is visually appealing and will last for years to come. Storage beds, ottomans with compartments, hutches, and bookcases, be smart with your organization.

Lighting is key:


Every room should have a mix of lighting, overhead, accent, and task lights. Natural lighting is best for brightening up a home, but when that isn’t an option use lamps and proper bulbs to add lighting to corners that are dark. Lighting can change the mood of a room, inspire productivity, and change perspective. Great lighting is just as important as the decor.
