Spring News
This Spring has brought unprecedented challenges for everyone, no less so for us at Chestnut Hill Meals on Wheels. We are so very lucky for the community that surrounds us, and the support we have received.
We are now operating out of The First Presbyterian Church of Springfield for our meal delivery. We have been able to continue delivery thanks to a number of new partnerships. Please continue reading to see all the wonderful things happening for our clients.
Community Partnerships
Thanks to our partnership with The Hill at Whitemarsh we have fresh soup and sandwiches each day. Henry Bromley, Director of Dining Services at the Hill, places items in our volunteer’s car.
Ken & Pam Smith, Oreland residents and friends of Chestnut Hill Meals on Wheels saved the day! Ken is the director of operations at Procacci Brothers in Philadelphia. The company has kindly agreed to donate fruit for our clients for the next few weeks.
Never fear, Flourtown Wawa is here! When our soup cup shipment was delayed manager Shannon provided cups.
Manna on Main Street has stepped in as our new provider of dinners and milk.
