Holiday Programs
Join us for the festive Chestnut Hill Circle of Trees on Saturday, November 23 at 5:30 PM. This free event brings the community together at the start of the holiday season. Enjoy hot chocolate, cider, cookies, and holiday music from local choirs. There will also be a visit from (shhhhh!) Santa, who arrives on an antique fire truck, with goodie bags for the kids! Together we count down to the lighting of Woodmere and surrounding trees. |

On Tuesday nights, Woodmere’s main gallery is transformed into an intimate setting for screenings of rare and underseen films as well as classics. Tuesday Nights at the Movies is presented with the Chestnut Hill Film Group and sponsored by the Chestnut Hill Local. Donations suggested; 7:00-9:00 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.). |

Tuesday Night Film | Election (1999 / 103 minutes)
Tuesday, November 5 | 7 PM
Spend election night with us as we screen Alexander Payne’s darkly funny satire, Election (winner of Independent Spirit Awards for Best Feature, Director, and Screenplay). The campaign of an ambitious high-schooler (Reese Witherspoon) running for student council president is sabotaged by the schemes of her disillusioned teacher (Matthew Broderick). A hilarious and biting take on ambition, ethics, and the quest for power. |
