Curtis on Tour: Beethoven Septet in E-Flat Major, Op. 20

Beethoven’s Septet in E-flat major, Op. 20, was one of the most popular of the composer’s works during his lifetime. A special evening devoted to the piece will begin with a lecture about Beethoven and the Septet by David Serkin Ludwig, Chair of Composition Studies at Curtis, followed by a complete performance of the work.
