Gravers Lane Gallery, located at 8405 Germantown Ave. in the historic neighborhood of Chestnut Hill, is please to present: “Night Animals: Divine King After Dust In Honor of Tyrone”, an exhibition, poetry reading and poetry slam, a collaboration with the Edison High School poetry slam team, Yusef Komunyakaa and Rachel Bliss.  The event will include Yusef Komunyakaa, Pulitzer Prize winning poet and Distinguished Senior Poet at New York University’s graduate creative writing program and Rachel Bliss, nationally recognized painter.

The exhibition is in celebration of the life of Tyrone Alexander Tillman, tragically killed in a hit and run accident.   The event will include paintings by Rachel Bliss and the young men and women of from Edison High School along with a poetry reading by Yusef Komunyakaa and the students. Supported by their teachers, Freda Anderson, Sydney Coffin.
EVENTS TiME:  1:00pm-2:00pm Poetry reading by Yusef Komunyakaa students.
Reception: 3:00pm-5:00pm generously provided by WEAVERS WAY COOP.
The exhibition will open May 1st and run through May 30th 2016. Opening reception will take place Saturday, May 7th 1-5pm.  The opening is free and the public is welcome.  The gallery is handicap accessible.
