Welcome to 2022! I have heard folks say that January has had a bit of a deja vu feeling and I am feeling that too! But there is also a glimmer of hope and optimism that we are making some headway in conquering this horrible virus and return to some form of “normalcy”

Here at the CHCA we are planning a full year of events and activities for 2022. The last 18+ months have given us some skills at adapting events as need requires so they may not look the same as they have in years past, but they will be designed to help all here in Chestnut Hill enjoy what this beautiful and special part of Philadelphia has to offer.

We are always looking at ways to make your membership with the CHCA more valuable than ever! As you renew your membership you will be receiving the 2022 Passport to the Chestnut Hill Experience. Be sure to support our local businesses by utilizing the coupons and offers you will find within. We will also be introducing an electronic membership card in the coming months for those who would prefer to access their card (for discounts and other benefits) on their mobile device.

Development is a hot topic here in Chestnut Hill and with our surrounding neighbors. CHCA will be releasing a webpage to help our members get information about not only the development review process in Chestnut Hill but also information on zoning, and Philadelphia’s long-term vision on growth. Stay tuned, we’ll let you know when it is live!

There will be a very important community meeting tomorrow, Feb 1 at 7pm via Zoom on the construction taking place at the SugarLoaf Campus. Representatives from the College will explain their master plan and take questions from the community. Learn more and register for the zoom link below.

Chestnut Hill College Community Meeting – SugarLoaf Campus Update – Tues. Feb 1, 7pm

There will be a community meeting via Zoom with representatives from Chestnut Hill College regarding the campus master plan and work that is currently taking place.

The agenda will include a brief background on the project, including the master plan. Updates on the project will be given, along with a response to questions the college has already received. They will also accept questions via chat to the Host during the session.
