NOW OPEN: Strange Narratives | Resilient Bodies explores how artists register the trauma and hope of an uncertain world. Comprised of works by living and historical figures in the arts of Philadelphia, the exhibition is filled with images that convey mysterious sentiments, seemingly supernatural gestures, and enigmatic combinations of depicted objects. It represents Woodmere’s Celebration of the Centennial of the Birth of Surrealism. Organized by esteemed, independent curator, Robert Cozzolino, the show inspires visitors to search for meaning beneath the surface.

This intimate show opens in the Stairwell Gallery on October 5, 2024.
