Morris Arboretum’s New Saturday Morning Live Tour Series Begins May 5


Morris Arboretum introduces their new Saturday Morning Live Tour Series on May 5, at 11am. Led by experienced guides, these tours will highlight a different feature of the garden on the first Saturday of each month May through December 2018 at11am.  The May tour, Small Trees for Small Spaces, will showcase some of the Arboretum’s smaller specimen trees.  Ranging in height from 15 to 30 feet, these treeshave many special features, for instance spectacular bark, interesting forms, and great flower and leaf color. One of the many plants highlighted on this tour is Eastern Redbud (Cercis Canadensis) noted for its multiple trunks and stunning pea-like, rose-purple flowers. For more information,  No registration is required.  Tour is included with garden admission.
