Family Program: Celebrating Harriet Tubman’s 200th Birthday
Woodmere Art Museum joins Philadelphia’s city-wide celebration of the 200th birthday of Harriet Tubman with a family program for all ages. Discover the courage and determination of Harriet Tubman as a young girl through a musical interpretation and narration of Minty: A Story of Young Harriet Tubman, illustrated by renowned artist Jerry Pinkney. Original music, composed by Warren Oree, will be performed by the Arpeggio Jazz Ensemble. To learn more and register, click here.

Classical Music: A Weekend with Marja Kaisla
Friday, March 4 & Saturday, March 5
Woodmere Art Museum’s Classical Music series presents a weekend with renowned pianist Marja Kaisla. On Friday, March 4, Kaisla will perform an evening of virtuosity with Liszt, Brahms, Debussy, and Stravinsky. On Saturday, March 5, Kaisla will explore the sublime beauty and contemplation of Franz Schubert’s Six Moments Musicaux Op. 64 and Sonata in B flat Major (D960).
