For less than $1/week, anyone can join the Chestnut Hill Conservancy and help sustain the open space, history, and architecture that define this cherished community.

Chestnut Hill Conservancy members are essential partners as stewards and students of this beautiful, historic, green, urban community. Together we work to meet current needs using treasured resources, without diminishing the ability of future generations to meet theirs.

Introducing Danielle Marino,

the Conservancy’s new Development Manager

We are proud and delighted to introduce you the Conservancy’s new Development Manager, Danielle Marino. Danielle joins the Conservancy having fallen in love with Chestnut Hill several years ago while a student at Arcadia University, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and International Relations.

She joins the Chestnut Hill Conservancy having worked in development and fundraising for other area non-profit organizations, most recently as the Membership and Development Manager for the Bucks County Historical Society.

Danielle also served as an AmeriCorps member with CityYear Philadelphia, and is an avid baker and animal and nature lover.

If you want to make a real difference in efforts to conserve the architecture, open space, history, and sustainability of Chestnut Hill and surrounding communities, apply to join our growing staff (or forward to a friend)!

The Conservancy is actively searching for a Business and Office Manager, a Programs and Communications Manager, and an Executive Office and Archives Assistant (all three are full time, with benefits).

The Business and Office Manager will oversee the Conservancy’s administrative functions and activities, including financial and business management, and office administration.

The Programs and Communications Manager will lead our outreach efforts, handling the organization’s communications, and helping to create & manage engaging public programs to illuminate the area’s architecture, open space, and history.

The Executive Office and Archives Assistant will provide administrative support to the organization’s office and personnel, including projects in the Conservancy’s Archives.

The Conservancy is committed to building a culturally diverse staff. Available immediately, these positions will remain open until filled.

You wouldn’t know it now, as we are all so used to Chestnut Hill’s having its treasured historic status. But it almost didn’t happen.
