Hone Your Athletic Skills this Summer with Nationally Ranked Varsity Coaches:
SCH Academy’s Summerside on the Hill New Sports Camps
What’s old is new at SCH Academy’s long-standing summer camp, Summerside on the Hill, with brand-new athletic camps built to develop youth talent across a variety of sports, including soccer, basketball, football, lacrosse, and tennis. Serving a range of ages and experience, these new sports camps are available for athletic novices to those looking to hone their skills in a specific sport or multiple sports. SCH’s new Athletics Director, Dave Wilson (as of summer 2017), is looking “to bring SCH top talent to our own backyard by offering lacrosse, soccer, tennis, football and a multi-sports camp for the enthusiastic, younger athlete who want to do a little bit of every sport.” Athletic camps are created, managed, and executed by SCH’s varsity coaching talent, many of whom are current or former professional athletes, and will be utilizing the school’s premier fields and facilities.
These athletic offerings are packaged as two types of sports camps: multi-sports day camps for the active camper, boys or girls ages 7 to 12, who likes to dabble in a variety of sports and want to build a foundation of athletic skills; and specialized single-sport day camps for the athletic camper building their skills and abilities in a dedicated sport. SCH’s high school varsity coaches include: Rick Knox (varsity football), Maria Kosmin (girls varsity soccer & 2017 Inter-AC championship team), Brian Dougherty and Matt Rambo (boys varsity lacrosse coaches), Antowine Graham (girls varsity basketball), Julian McFadden (boys varsity basketball), and Ashley Vandegrift (girls varsity tennis).
