Dear Friend of Chestnut Hill,

When people talk about why they love this area, they cite the abundance of historic homes and buildings, the visual appeal of the Avenue, the neighborhood feeling, the wonderful shops and events. They come back for the long-standing retailers and institutions and to see what’s new on the Hill.

It takes work. It takes partnerships and leadership. This is where the Chestnut Hill Community Fund shines.

Consider that each dollar you donate to the Chestnut Hill Community Fund will support a very worthwhile program in our community. Here’s what some of those who have benefited have to say about the importance of these contributions:

The Pastorius Park concerts provide a wonderful setting on summer nights to bring out the family, friends, even your dogs, for a free night of entertainment with hundreds of your neighbors. – Chestnut Hill Community Association … With your involvement, we have cultivated an integrated, healthy community where neighbors engage with each other across racial and class boundaries. – Mt. Airy Learning Tree …The Chestnut Hill Community Fund gifts allow us to…bring the highest level of performance of the greatest choral works of our time to Chestnut Hill and, from there, to the world. – The Crossing … We now find ourselves in a world struggling with a difficult financial climate, severe budget cuts, and complicated healthcare insurance and reimbursement models. With gratitude, we thank you for embracing us and those we serve. – Keystone Hospice … Teenagers, Inc. helped me learn so much about myself, my neighbors near and far, as well as my life. I have learned a lot about the difference I can make in the world. – Teenagers, Inc. … Thanks to the Chestnut Hill Community Fund’s generous support, we are able to provide a wide range of activities and resources to help older adults maintain their independence, without ever feeling alone. – Chestnut Hill Center for Enrichment

Every year, leaders in our community turn to the Chestnut Hill Community Fund to help them support their programming. We hope that we, in turn, can count on you to help these groups continue to improve Chestnut Hill. Please consider a $100 or $200 donation or whatever you feel comfortable giving to the Fund today. To make a donation to the Chestnut Hill Fund, visit or Town Hall at 8434 Germantown Avenue.
