Dinosaur Parade

Saturday, June 15 • 11 am

Bring the whole family dressed as your favorite dinosaurs! Wear your dinosaur t-shirts, inflatable dino costumes, dino face make-up, or grab a dino mask at the Welcome Center. We’ll play music and walk through the Morris together, stopping for musical games, a runway show to see everyone’s costumes, and snacks in the Whimsical Woods where dinos roam free!

Father’s Day Family Birding Fun

Sunday, June 16 • 10:30 am

Together we will go on a birding walk and practice our identification skills. Then we will paint bird houses for Dad back at the Welcome Center. Bring binoculars and bird guide books if you have them—or just bring yourselves and come ready to have fun!

Join us to welcome the sun on the summer solstice, the longest day of the year. Wander the grounds and experience the Morris like never before: as the sun rises.

Come to the Morris for Independence Day and try our firework flower scavenger hunt! Using our handy guides, identify plants of botanical shapes that look like fireworks. Circle back to the Welcome Center with your field notes and get a cold treat!
