One thing I keep hearing this season is how short it is because Thanksgiving was so late – we’re all going to feel like we blinked and missed it! I’m savoring each day this month (my favorite time of year!) by sneaking in a little joy each day – hanging a bit of extra garland at home, singing loudly (and badly, very badly) to my favorite old carols in the car, and most importantly, visiting as many independent shops as possible to pick up gifts for everyone on my list.
We say it all the time because it’s true – shopping locally really matters. And the best part is – it’s also way more fun.
