Fall Volunteer Clean-Up Event!

Saturday, October 11, 2025

9:00AM – 12:00PM

Come help us get the park ready for the winter season and meet your neighbors. We will be focusing on spreading mulch, raking sweet gum pods, and hauling deadfall limbs to the roadside. Gloves recommended. We have a limited number of rakes and wheel barrows, you are welcome to bring your own. Coffee and donuts will be provided!

All volunteers must complete a Volunteer Waiver form. Use the link below to complete the form ahead of time. Forms will also be available on-site.

A Note About Four-Legged Volunteers
While we love our Furry Friends of Pastorius Park, we kindly request that you leave them at home or keep them leashed. We find that the temptation to lift a leg to a bag of leaves is just too great and not courteous to other volunteers. Thank you!

Can’t Make it This Weekend?

Join us for a Special Tree Planting Event

Saturday, October 18

9:00AM – 12:00PM

Note: This event will be a bit more strenuous than our typical clean-up events. We will be digging holes, planting large trees, and spreading mulch.

Join us in planting 40 understory trees in the Northeast Woods section of Pastorius Park! This installation is made possible by a generous grant from the Philadelphia Committee of The Garden Club of America and the Peg Dilks Award.
