Visit Morris Arboretum’s Garden Railway on Saturday, July 15 and Sunday, July 16, 10am-5pm, to see Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends take over the rails!
Chugging along the quarter mile track you’ll spot many of your favorite train characters including Emily, the only female in the steam team, ‘Arry & Bert, twin diesel shunters who like to play tricks on steam engines, Toby, the friendly wooden steam tram, and of course, Thomas.
The Garden Railway features seven loops and tunnels with 15 rail lines, two cable cars, and nine bridges. This magical world, complete with miniature buildings surrounding the tracks, is created entirely of natural materials and nestled among woody plants, colorful annuals and perennials. The finished product is an enchanting landscape that never ceases to delight visitors both young and old.
